This was a more complicated job for us as the tree is directly opposite the house, this makes it harder for the climber to not damage the roof whilst carrying out the crown reduction. In order to carry out this job without damaging the property, we used a technique named tree rigging. This is where lowering devices and ropes are used to lower branches and limbs down safely to the ground without damaging any property. The clients’ main focus was to prevent further damage to the roof, whereas in the past branches had snapped off causing tiles to crack, which was very costly to repair. As you can see, the shape has been maintained to a very high standard and the client was very happy with the outcome.
